Experience:

Since 1998, Mrs. Theophilou is a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association and she practices law, as an advocate and legal consultant, in A.CHR.THEOPHILOU LLC, a law firm that was founded by my father, Andreas Theophilou in 1976, in which I am a Partner and Director, as well as the Manager of the Litigation Department. 

She have represented clients before the Cyprus Courts involved in a wide range of national and international civil and commercial disputes.  She has also been involved a lot with all aspects of admiralty litigation, including but not limited to proceedings in respect to obtaining orders for the arrest or release of vessels within Cypriot waters or for the forced sale for execution purposes, claims for loss or damage to cargo during their carriage by sea and all sorts of claims before the Admiralty Court of Cyprus and in general a wide range of commercial shipping activities, including vessel registration under the Cyprus flag and related matters.

Education:

I have a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Kent in Canterbury, in the United Kingdom and a Master of Laws in Maritime Law & Marine Insurance from the University College of London.
