Education:

School of Law of the University of São Paulo (USP). Master Degree in Business Law from University of São Paulo (USP). Fellow researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht– Hamburg/Germany (2002).

 

Experience:

Fabiana heads the Corporate/M&A department of Rayes & Fagundes. 

She has over 18 years of experience and solid knowledge of Brazilian corporate law. Her practice is focused mainly on corporate restructurings, M&A transactions, and complex domestic and international contracts. In the past twelve months, she has been particularly busy with partnership negotiations and restructuring matters. 

Fabiana also has a strong academic background and is a professor at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado.

She acts for renowned clients coming from a wide range of industry sectors and also represents the firm in national and international organizations (Brazilian Association of Private Equity & Venture Capital – ABVCAP; Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce – Brazilcham, among others) and networks of law firms located throughout Americas, Europe and Asia.
