Thanks to the bilateral trade between China and Malaysia, Chinese consumers can enjoy Malaysian specialties such as Cat Mountain Durian and White Coffee without leaving home. The bilateral trade volume between China and Malaysia in 2018 is 108.6 billion U.S. dollars, and it is 57.4 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of 2019. China has become Malaysia’s largest trading partner. Under the background of Sino-US trade war, there will be a large increase of investment and trade between China and Malaysia.

Today, Ada Wang, partner of PW & Partners, attended the 2019 China (Guang dong)-Malaysia Bilateral Business Council Meeting. Li xu Fang, president of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guang dong Committee, and Tan Sri Lim Hock San, president of the Malaysian Investment Promotion Association gave the opening speech.

The meeting reviewed the achievements of China-Malaysia Bilateral Business Council in the past 11 years, and analyzed the historical opportunities brought by the Guang dong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area. Ada Wang also fully communicated with Chinese entrepreneurs and Malaysian lawyers on investment legal matters, and expressed that PW lawyers would continue to actively assist Chinese companies in expanding their overseas markets.
